Scott Lindsey MD, FAAD is a board-certified dermatologist fellowship-trained in Mohs Micrographic Surgery. He has expertise treating a broad range of dermatologic conditions ranging from melanoma and keratinocyte carcinomas to complex medical and pediatric dermatology including psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, rashes, warts, acne, and cysts. He has published 16 peer-reviewed journal articles and has given numerous lectures both around the United States and internationally.
Dr. Lindsey grew up in Winter Park, Florida. He received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Florida and then completed his medical degree at the University of Miami School of Medicine. In medical school, he was elected into the prestigious Alpha Omega Alpha medical honors society and graduated with research distinction. After medical school, Dr. Lindsey completed a one year clinical and research fellowship focusing on the treatment and diagnosis of melanoma. He continued his training by completing a one-year internship in Internal Medicine at Mount Sinai Medical Center and subsequently completed his dermatology residency at the University of Miami. Dr. Lindsey continued his education by completing a one-year fellowship at the Skin Institute where he was trained in both Mohs Micrographic Surgery and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery.
Dr. Lindsey is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American College of Mohs Surgery, American Society for Dermatologic Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
In his spare time, he enjoys golfing, playing chess, boating, running, and playing with his goldendoodles – Govie and Waffles!
