Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic skin condition characterized by redness, pimples and, in advanced stages, thickened skin. Rosacea usually occurs on the face and appears like flushing on the nose, cheeks and chin; it may be accompanied by a burning sensation. Rosacea is considered a sensitive skin condition and certain products should be avoided as they can aggravate the condition. Some triggers can be: heat, cold, spicy foods and even alcohol. Be sure to ask Dr. Forman and staff for specific recommendations.
