Actinic Keratosis

Blu – U® Light Photodynamic Therapy

Blu – U® Light Photodynamic Therapy in combination with Levulan® is the use of light-activated drugs to treat minimally to moderately thick actinic keratoses of the face or scalp. Patients experience a tingling and warm sensation during treatment and are informed to avoid any sun exposure for 48 hours after treatment. Typically this treatment is covered by insurance for the treatment of actinic keratoses. Please verify coverage with your insurance plan.
