Medical Assistant

Job Description:

Multi Specialty practice seeking a bright, energetic and motivated certified medical assistant/scribe with 1 year of Dermatology, Rheumatology, or Family Medicine experience; to provide clinical support to our patients and providers.

This position requires the ability to keep up in a fast paced environment; candidate should be able to multi-task, be organized, detail oriented, proficient in Medical Terminology and familiar with using EMR systems.

This position is a full time position with great benefits.

Job Requirements and Qualifications:

Current Medical Assistant Certification
Pathology proficiency
Biologic medication knowledge
EMR experience is a MUST- Eclinical experience is a plus
Assisting providers with skin biopsies, injections, surgical procedures, cosmetic treatments and patient education.
Patient charting (i.e. scribing patient history, provider’s diagnosis, examination descriptions, treatment plans, electronic prescribing, coding )
Excellent patient service and interpersonal skills
Effective communication skills(written and oral)
Self-starter and motivated
Knowledgeable of medical/dermatology terminology and abbreviations
Computer Proficiency
