Benefits of Massage Therapy
There are many different types of massage, ranging from light strokes to deep pressure. It can be a complimentary service or integrated with medicine. It is an effective therapy in the reduction of pain, stress, and muscle tension. Other ways massage therapy may be helpful:

Hormone Replacement Therapy
Estrogen and progesterone are made less in women as they begin to approach menopause. Hot flashes, vaginal discomfort, and fatigue are some of the common issues that arise during this time. Hormone replacement therapy replaces those hormones that the body no longer produces. They are delivered a variety of ways in pill, gels, skin patch, cream, or vaginal inserts. Depending on the type of therapy prescribed, benefits are the relief of hot flashes, vaginal discomfort, and improvement in hair loss or thinning.
For men, testosterone levels typically peak in adolescence and begin to decline after you reach 30 or 40. The declining levels cause disturbances to sexual function, sleep patterns, emotions, and reduces bone density. Testosterone therapy can help relieve some of these issues, but your doctor will do further tests to ensure the lowered levels aren’t a result of something else. The therapies are delivered via injections, pellets, patches, or gels.
